Watford City's Corner to Miss Season Friday, August 31st, 2040 The season is ending on a bad note for Luke Corner, reliever for the Watford City Trash Pandas. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Corner was hurt against the Athletic Club KC U-21 while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 9 months. For the season Corner is 6-and-3 with 14 saves and a 2.20 ERA. He has given up 36 hits in 45 innings with 69 strikeouts. |
