Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Oglethorpe Tuesday, August 21st, 2040 Interns first baseman Jason Oglethorpe has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-3 in today's game against the Athletic Club KC U-21. Capital Hill won the ballgame 9-5. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Jason Oglethorpe grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 4th and doubled in the 6th. Oglethorpe has a .292 average and a .335 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 74 hits, 3 home runs and driven in 35 runs. |
