Injury Sidelines Gregg Booth For Year
Saturday, July 14th, 2040
The doctors have spoken and Gregg Booth of the Ladue Rams didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Booth sustained his season-ending injury during the Amarillo Submarinos game yesterday at Terriers Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Ladue medical staff reported Booth had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months.
Booth has gone to the hill for 2 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 3-2 record with a 4.22 ERA. The Ladue reliever has limited opposing batters to a .268 batting average.
