McLean of Quebec City Crowned Best Player Monday, May 28th, 2040 George McLean made quite a splash in the USSL Rookie this past week. The Quebec City Baby Blues right fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 8 hits in 14 at-bats to roll up a .571 batting average and the USSL Rookie Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. McLean is presently hitting at a .227 pace with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and has scored 11 times. |
