Janero SR Outstanding Batter of the Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2040 When Marcos Janero stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Rookie Batter of the Month award. The young Ellesmere Island center fielder posted a .396 batting average with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Janero also worked pitchers for 3 walks to post a .420 on-base percentage.
