Aldred van Antwerpen Injured, Out for Season Saturday, July 28th, 2040 The doctors have spoken and Aldred van Antwerpen of the Ballard Beavers didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. van Antwerpen sustained his season-ending injury during the Moose Jaw Canucks game yesterday at Field of the Sunchasers. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Ballard medical staff reported van Antwerpen had a partially torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. |
