Crowley's Boysen Will Miss Season
Friday, August 31st, 2040
The doctors have spoken and Charles Boysen of the Crowley Cajuns didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Boysen sustained his season-ending injury during the Tulsa Otters game yesterday at Ballpark of Hughesville. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Crowley medical staff reported Boysen had a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months.

For the season Boysen is 1-and-2 with no saves and a 1.84 ERA. He has given up 22 hits in 29.1 innings with 34 strikeouts.
