Díaz on a Hot Streak, PR Player of the Week Monday, August 6th, 2040 When it came to hitting the baseball, Carlos Díaz was in a class by himself in the USPL Rookie this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Tulsa tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 homers, 3 runs scored and 6 RBIs. This year Díaz is batting .235 with 1 home run. |
