Injury Sidelines Pepe Franco for Season
Wednesday, July 18th, 2040
Pepe Franco will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Long Island starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Franco was injured while throwing a pitch in the Ducks-Lead Sox clash at Ducks Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 13 months.
To this point in the season, Franco shows a 2-2 record, 6 starts, 37.2 innings, 34 strikeouts and a 1.67 ERA.
