Rossi Wins PR Player of Week Award Monday, July 2nd, 2040 Redwood's Gonzalo Rossi is only 19, but last week he put up numbers that would make a seasoned veteran proud. That's why the young hurler earned the USPL Rookie Player of the Week award. Rossi tallied 2 wins, 13 strikeouts in 14 innings and a 1.29 ERA for the week. Thus far this season Rossi has posted a 6-4 record, started 11 games, struck out 59 batters in 61.2 innings and compiled a 4.23 ERA. |
