USPL Rookie #1 Hurler is Brinley Sunday, July 1st, 2040 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Finley Brinley put together a very solid month to take home the USPL Rookie's top pitching honor in June. The 21-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In no relief appearances he raked in no saves and 47 strikeouts in 30 innings as he put together his 3-1 record and 0.90 ERA. This season he has made no relief appearances, collecting no saves. Brinley has worked 63.1 innings, yielding 45 hits and giving out 6 free passes while striking out 86. He has a 6-3 record with a 1.56 ERA. |
