PAA Star of the Week Chosen Monday, September 17th, 2040 At the age of 27, Kata Naito might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Mercer Island first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .571 batting average. For his efforts Naito collected the USPL Double A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 14 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season Naito is batting .325 with 19 home runs, 44 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 246 at-bats, 42 walks and a .427 OBP. Naito has played in 73 games. |
