Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Olympia Saturday, August 18th, 2040 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Olympia Ogres this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Olympia last appeared in the postseason in 2033. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 25-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ogres have missed the playoffs 8 times. Olympia has won the PL AA Championship 2 times in their history. |
