Moran Cracks 5 Hits Friday, August 3rd, 2040 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Mercer Island's Rocky Moran made it happen today against the Ogres. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Screaming Eagles to a 14-2 win at The Ogre Den. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Moran said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Rocky Moran doubled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
