Rincón Pounds SAA Pitchers This Week Monday, May 28th, 2040 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Tony Rincón of the Yakima Hops reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rincón rocked opposing pitching for a .611 average (11-for-18), 1 home run and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Rincón is batting .421 with 4 home runs. He has scored 20 runs and driven in 12. |
