Star of the Week Awarded in SAA Monday, September 17th, 2040 So far in his young career, Robbie Brendle has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Minnesota Loons center fielder hit at a torrid .444 clip as he collected 8 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Brendle has hit 3 home runs and posted a .309 batting average. |
