Red-Hot Rampage Reaps SAA Reward Monday, July 23rd, 2040 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Tobias Valencia of the Minnesota Loons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Valencia rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. In the current season, Valencia has put up a .347 batting average with 61 hits, 19 home runs, 50 RBI and scored 36 runs. |
