Miners Win Tight Menard's AA Race Tuesday, September 18th, 2040 The Marquette Miners may have had some self-doubt, but in the end they have prevailed as Menard's AA champions. "When the standings are as close as they have been in the final days of the season, you start to wonder - can we really do this?" said reliever Tomás Alfonso. "Thankfully I think everyone still believed and we got it done." It's now off to the postseason, where the team will be trying to win the 3L AA Championship for the 5th time. The division title was the 3rd for the Miners. |
