Minor Chosen September's Best SAAA Hurler Monday, October 1st, 2040 There's something about a young rookie winning the USSL Triple A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Ralph Minor, a 24-year-old starter for the Alloway Halberds. In September, he topped off the month with a 3-0 mark and 1.93 ERA in 3 starts, tossed 23.1 innings, fanned 10 and held opposing teams to a .181 average. Lifetime Minor has a won-lost record of 13 victories and 8 losses with 96 strikeouts in 162.2 innings and a 3.10 ERA. |
