Wild Card Clinched by Halberds Wednesday, September 19th, 2040 The Alloway Halberds could very well have acquired some new fans late this season, as the team's 2040 playoff chase saw them win the wild card as the season wound to a close. "It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Halberds. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said reliever Napoleon Vitagliano. What ended up happening is that the team's 56-46 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 2nd SL AAA Championship in franchise history. "It's only going to get more exciting from here on in," Vitagliano said. |
