Drummers Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 18th, 2040 Tortolita Drummers manager Barrett Abbott said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Before this season, the Drummers last missed the playoffs in 2035. In the 25 years they have been a USSL Triple A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 18 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 4 times. Tortolita last won the SL AAA Championship in 2038. |
