Player of the Week: Mehoff of the Men Monday, July 23rd, 2040 23-year-old Walke Mehoff made a few Florida headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .393 average. Mehoff collected 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In 26 games this year Mehoff has posted a .364 average and put up these numbers: 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
