Tanaka Tabbed as June's Starter of the Month Sunday, July 1st, 2040 Shigochiyo Tanaka hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning USSL Triple A Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In June the Tortolita starter earned a 3-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 31.1 innings, struck out 33 and compiled a solid 1.72 ERA. This season Tanaka has compiled a 3-3 mark, 3.43 ERA and made 11 starts. |
