Costello Grabs PAAA Reliever of the Year Award Friday, October 5th, 2040 Ramón Costello has won the 2040 USPL Triple A Reliever of the Year Award, which at age 34 is a "milestone achievement" for the Alaskan Humpbacks reliever. "I feel accomplished to win this when there are other younger, stronger, harder-throwing guys out there," he said. The Huntsville, Alabama native's numbers speak for themselves, as he captured the award with 7 saves in 33 relief appearances, compiling 98.2 innings. He had 87 strikeouts and 22 walks, a record of 11-1 and an ERA of 2.74. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Alejandro Araya of the Port Royal Disaster finished second in voting, while Wilson Rangel of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third.
