Amor Campos's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Hamilton center fielder smacked 1 hit against the Hartford Pride in today's game at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Coyotes drop the game, 8-3.
"I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Amor Campos walked in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
For the season, Campos is hitting at a .335 clip with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 29 runs. He has 52 hits, 23 walks and a .420 on-base percentage.
