Injury Setback for Stingers Dunlap Tuesday, October 16th, 2040 The Toledo Stingers will have to do without left fielder Matt Dunlap even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Dunlap's recovery from a fractured ulna has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Stingers trainer indicated it would be at least 6 weeks before they would consider activating Dunlap. Matt Dunlap is expected to undergo surgery in Toledo(Ohio) tomorrow. Dunlap is hitting .239 for the season with 15 home runs, 47 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 343 at-bats and played in 100 games. |
