Kingston Township Announces Cardenas Will Retire Wednesday, August 22nd, 2040 Alfredo Cardenas said the one thing he hopes he's remembered for in his baseball career is for being the hardest worker around. It will be time to start reflecting on his career soon, as the 36-year-old Kingston Township Knights center fielder today announced his retirement from the sport. "I pride myself on my work ethic and I hope that rubbed off on my teammates and continues to rub off on the team after I'm gone," he said. For his career Cardenas has batted .226 and hit 119 home runs. |
