Williams Says Goodbye to Baseball
Sunday, July 22nd, 2040
Shawn Williams said he's made enough money in professional baseball, so it's time to move on.
"I did pretty well for myself, my bank account isn't hurting, maybe I'll become a manager or a team owner or something so I can make even more," he said, announcing this season would be his last. "I'm 37 years old, so I've still got some time to make something of the rest of my life."
Williams has a won-lost record of 34 wins and 35 losses with 574 strikeouts and a lifetime 3.65 ERA.
