SL's Top Rookie Named Wednesday, October 31st, 2040 The United States Silver League has made it official -- Ricardo Yates is the winner of the Newcomer of the Year Award. In 2040 the Philadelphia 1776 left fielder was solid performer with a .299 batting average, 11 home runs and 45 RBIs. Yates also had 25 walks and posted a .363 on-base percentage. Silvio Capitanio of the Buckhead Bowties finished second in voting, while Dave Becker of the Buckhead Bowties finished third. |
