Best SL Reliever Named Wednesday, October 31st, 2040 The Mississippi Mockingbirds got more than they expected out of An Jang-Yop in 2040. At the age of 34, there were questions about whether or not Jang-Yop could still compete at a high level, but those questions were answered emphatically as he has won the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award. On the season, the South Korea native recorded 27 saves in 41 relief appearances and threw 54 innings. He recorded 76 strikeouts and 9 walks, while posting an opponent's batting average of .135. Urs Ehles of the San Mateo Dirty Reds finished second in voting, while Mannus Dijkman of the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC finished third. |
