Hay of Ft. Worth Crowned Best Player Monday, September 24th, 2040 So far in his young career, Kolby Hay has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the United States Silver League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Ft. Worth Cattlemen center fielder hit at a torrid .400 clip as he collected 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Hay is batting .309 with 142 hits and 32 home runs. He has scored 87 times and has batted in 91 runs. |
