Erwin Shelley Injured, Out for Year Monday, August 20th, 2040 When Erwin Shelley was hurt against the Eugene Vandals, the Rocky Mountain Vibes were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Shelley would miss 8 months of the season. Over the season Shelley has thrown 43 innings and dished out 42 strikeouts with a 2-4 mark and a 2.09 ERA. |
