Maddox's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Wednesday, July 4th, 2040 Spencer Maddox's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-5 in a 7-2 Kingston Mangos triumph over the Eugene Vandals at The Riot Zone. The 20-year-old third baseman has now hit safely in 25 consecutive games for the Mangos. Spencer Maddox flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This season Maddox has hit 8 home runs and posted a .340 batting average. |
