Laredo's Richard Nets SA Outstanding Pitcher Award Friday, September 28th, 2040 The 2040 USSL Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Laredo Hawks ace Sylvain Richard after a stellar 10-1 season. In 20 starts he piled up 113.1 innings, 166 strikeouts, 43 walks and a 1.35 ERA. Richard held opposing hitters to a .135 batting average. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Steve Young of the Syracuse Storm finished second in voting, while Javier Iturburua of the Laredo Hawks finished third.
