SA Best Manager, Sánchez of the Laredo Hawks Thursday, September 27th, 2040 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Leonardo Sánchez, he seems to have taken the Laredo Hawks to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the USSL Single A for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Sánchez led Laredo to a second place finish in the Silver A. The Hawks ended up with a 59-37 record. |
