Delaware Narrowly Wins Silver A Thursday, September 6th, 2040 You could barely hear the person standing next to you in the Delaware 1787 BC clubhouse, as the team celebrated its Silver A championship tonight. "We're a proud bunch and this one feels good," center fielder Jerry Scott shouted to reporters over the loud music that rang through the clubhouse after the team's division win became official. "This is a franchise that deserves a championship and we're going to do everything we can to make that happen." The 1787 BC have secured the franchise's 5th title with a 60-35 record and will be looking for the 3rd USSL Single A championship in franchise history. |
