Scott Wins SA Prize, Named Best Hitter in August Saturday, September 1st, 2040 Jerry Scott is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Delaware center fielder joined that select company when the USSL Single A announced the results of August's voting. Scott totaled 22 hits, 11 walks, 9 home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .310 batting average and .402 on-base percentage. A look at his current stats shows Scott with a .299 average, 17 home runs, 42 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has played in 79 games. |
