The Math Says - Airmen Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 25th, 2040 Fans of the Alameda Airmen will no doubt soon start turning their attention to next season -- if they haven't already. The team today was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Airmen have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 20 years as a USSL Single A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2035. In the last 10 seasons, the Airmen have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
