Chicote's 25-Game Hitting Streak Ends Thursday, July 12th, 2040 The Kennesaw Jets clamped down on Axel Chicote and put a stop to his hit streak. He went without a hit, ending the run at 25 straight games, but it didn't keep the Generals from winning. Washington downed the Jets 4-3. "It was bound to happen," Chicote said with a shrug after the game. So far in 2040 Chicote is batting .316 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 73 hits in 231 at-bats and a .355 OBP. |
