Gotaas Slugs Oaks to 11-7 Win
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Oakland Oaks brought some excitement to The Cattle Pen.

Conor Gotaas helped his team muscle past the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 11-7. In the game, the Oakland left fielder hit 2 home runs. Oakland reliever Sake Bravenboer picked up the win, upping his record to 3-10. Zalontae Hillary was saddled with the loss. Jesús Gonzáles nailed down his 1st save.

Gotaas had a big at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a solo home run. The Oaks went on to win.

Oaks manager DAshley GoAs wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

With the win over Ft. Worth, the Oaks improved to 37-53.
