Travis Morgan pitched a gem to lead San Mateo to a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Browns. San Mateo reliever Urs Ehles got the win, raising his record to 7-0. Damien Morin was tagged with the loss. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Dirty Reds.
Eddie Neef was the walk-off hero for San Mateo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dirty Reds designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"We take it day by day here," said Morgan, "and today was a good one for us."
