The Boston Patriots moved to within one game of the Round 2042 today, downing the Cleveland Browns on the road at Factory of Sadness by a score of 5-2. Patriots right-hander Davis Sawyer was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he came in in relief and pitched to 29 batters . The win gives the Patriots a - advantage in the best-of- Round 2041.
Boston third baseman Juan Andrés Martí contributed to the cause with a triple in the top of the first. For the game, Martí was 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk.
"It's a huge change in atmosphere versus last game," Martí said after the win. "I feel like we're back in the mix now. We just can't let up."
