Northern Virginia third baseman Eustacio Tafalla was the key at Atlantica today, being named player of the game as he powered the Rainbow Mermaids to victory in a critical Game of the Round 2041. The Rainbow Mermaids took the 4-2 win over the Greenville 84s to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
In the bottom of the first, Northern Virginia right fielder Rob Brooks had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Brooks stroked a 2-run double to left. It made the score 3-0, Northern Virginia. For the game, he was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
