Forest City Win Evens Series at 2
With second baseman Tom Camden leading the charge, the Forest City Warriors got a road win over the Alloway Halberds, 7-3, in Game 4 of the SL AAA Championship today. Camden went 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times at Ballpark of Alloway to help Forest City force a 2-2 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Forest City used the timely hitting of Donald Lund to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put the Warriors on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Hitting, winning. It's just contagious," said Lund.

Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday at League Park. Slated to start are Ramón Flores for the Alloway Halberds and Hsiao-lou Lei for the the Forest City Warriors.
