Almost There: Buffalo On Cusp of R1 Triumph After 7-0 Win
Facing elimination, the Buffalo White Walkers were looking for a savior. For today, at least, Dusty Fox delivered.

At Lang Park, the 29-year old pitched a game for the ages to fend off the San Mateo Dirty Reds and help the White Walkers close their deficit in the Round 1. Fox threw a 9-inning, complete-game shutout in the 7-0 Buffalo win, striking out 3 and allowing 4 hits. The White Walkers how trail - in the best-of- series.

Fox gave Buffalo a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 9 innings.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Buffalo manager Chris Lau.
