The San Mateo Dirty Reds have a critical edge over the Buffalo White Walkers in the Silver League Championship, thanks to the veteran bat of Zahid Kashani.

Kashani, 31, put on a showcase performance at Beyond the Wall today, leading the Dirty Reds to victory, 9-0, in a pivotal Game . San Mateo used a timely hit from Richard Edwards to get the win. The shortstop delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put the Dirty Reds on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Feels good to get the job done," Kashani said after the game.
