The Buckhead Bowties are one game away from a sweep of the Panama City Piranhas today after a 5-1 road win at The Tank. Bowties left-hander Billy Craig was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings allowing 1 run. Buckhead now holds a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.
It could have been a different outcome for Buckhead, had it not been for Barsati Saraf, the 24-year old shortstop . Saraf contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Buckhead up, 3-1.
"We lost," Panama City manager Brian Talamante said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."
