Losing Streak Continues for Fighting Imps with 6-3 Loss to Ogres
|
The Olympia Ogres defeated the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 6-3, at The Ogre Den. Olympia pinch hitter Qian-fu Zhou was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The losing skid has reached 10 games for Ithaca.
Had Zhou not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Zhou hit a grand slam. The Ogres never looked back after taking the 5-2 lead.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Zhou.
