Mercer Island Topples Lake Minnetonka, 12-7
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles bested the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats by a score of 12-7, with right fielder Andrew Bash getting the main credit. On the day, Bash went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Screaming Eagles. Jason Miller got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in 5.1 innings. Kuang-yin Tsou earned the save, his 6th.

Mercer Island relied on the hitting of Domingo Reyes to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Screaming Eagles on top, 3-0. For the game, Reyes had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

Bash said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
