Mercer Island used a superb performance from starting pitcher Kyung-soo Yun to down the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 2-1. Ryan Fry earned his 8th save in 9 chances. Mercer Island leads the Premier AA by 2 games.
The Screaming Eagles grabbed the lead in the top of the sixth. With no one out, Kata Naito hit a solo home run off Roberto Maldonado, putting Mercer Island in front, 2-0. For Naito, it was his 16th home run of the season.
